Dan Lynch and Fabian Scherschel hosted a weekly podcast called Linux Outlaws from the fall of 2007 until the end of 2014. In that time they produced 370 episodes (most of them 2 hours long) and won numerous votes for "most popular Linux podcast" in popular magazines like Linux Format. They attracted around 50k weekly listeners at their peak and quickly seemed to become established as a fixture on the scene, despite not having any real plans for world domination. Friendica is asoftware to create a distributed social network. It is a communication hub that can not only talk to other Friendica servers, but also natively to servers that are using the Diaspora protocol (Diaspora and Hubzilla) and the OStatus protocol that is used by GNU Social.
